Welcome to the Lake Taupo Districts MORE FM Summer Series of entertainment, home to Roadside Attractions, the New Years Eve Concert, Sunday Series and Anniversary Gig all of which are free to you. Also home to Big Gigs our commercial concert fixtures.
The MORE FM Summer Series was established in 2004 to both welcome in the new year and as a special and spectacular thank you to everyone involved in the Taupo regions event industry. From the much lauded hard working volunteers to the participants, spectators, officials, marshals, land owners, stakeholders and general public who are gracious in their support of what has become the Event Capital of New Zealand.

| Roadside Attractions is exactly what it says and is all encompassing. We have used our imagination to bring you something a little different on each and every lunch hour throughout the festive season. Playing right in the centre of town outside the Great Lake Centre on Tongariro St. It's the perfect spot to grab a takeout coffee and lunch from one of the many Cafes, wander down Horomatangi St, over the road and relax. |

| New Years Eve Concert (NYE09) |
| Two great cover bands, traditional countdown and fireworks at midnight, and something a little different to finish off... 2,000,000 volts... different. NYE09 is an alcohol free family environment taking place in the Riverside Park Unison Amphitheatre, Redoubt St, that's right opposite Woolworths Supermarket on the northern entrance to town. First band kicks off at 8pm so come and join us and get in the spirit to welcome in 2010. |

| Sunday Series |
| The Sunday Series runs Sunday evenings throughout the month of January and showcases a wide variety of Genre. Settle into a summer's evening in the spectacular Riverside Park Unison Amphitheatre, get that picnic sorted and come join us on the grass. We have lifted the liquor ban because wine goes with a picnic right? We have changed the start from previous years to allow you more time to get off the lake, grab that picnic and relax with us. Concerts run from 6pm to 8pm. Please note the Sunday Series of concerts are the only fixtures that are BYO. |

| Anniversary Gig |
| Nothing blue about a long weekend! Monday's a day off so we decided to do something a little special for locals and visitors alike. The Anniversary Gig newly established to the MORE FM Summer Series Calendar, we have a four hour Blue's gig, three bands, all highly credited and all portraying a slightly different twist on the Blues genre. This is going to be a great evening of music. Concert kicks off at 6pm through to 10pm. Venue is Riverside Park Unison Amphitheatre. |

| It's an exciting year for the Riverside Park Unison Amphitheatre with our first commercial concerts being confirmed. On Big Gigs you will find all the information on up and coming ticketed concerts like the More Fm Winery Series featuring Tim Finn, Bic Runga, Dave Dobbyn, Boh Runga and Che Fu.
